| Beschrijving | Lipopolysaccharides (LPSs, Endotoxin,LPS) is een endotoxine afkomstig van het buitenste blad van de buitenmembraan van Gram-negatieve bacteriën. Lipopolysaccharides bestaat uit een antigeen O-specifieke keten, een kernoligosaccharide en lipide A. Lipopolysaccharides is een pathogeen geassocieerd moleculair patroon (PAMP) dat het immuunsysteem activeert. Lipopolysaccharides activeert TLR-4 op immuuncellen. Lipopolysaccharides induceert de secretie van celmigrasoom. |
