Biologische activiteit

Beschrijving Adalimumab (anti-TNF-alpha) is het eerste volledig menselijke, recombinante IgG1-monoklonale antilichaam dat specifiek gericht is op humaan TNF-alpha, MW: 144,19 KD.

Behandeling met Adalimumab verandert de secretie van cytokinen.
In Vivo

We injecteerden adalimumab intradoctaalin de MG van volwassen muizen; dit bleek de multipotentie van BSC te stimuleren.

Protocol (enkel ter referentie)

Celassay:

  • Fa2N-4-cellen werden gedurende 24 uur gecoco-cultiveerd (CC) met monocytair afgeleide macrofagen (MDM's). Fysiologische (15%) en pro-inflammatoire (50%) MDM-naar-Fa2N-4-verhoudingen werden gebruikt. Alle gemeten cytokineconcentraties werden gerelateerd aan de overeenkomstige controle (vouwwijziging) om (A) het IL-8-neutraliserende antilichaam (αIL-8, 100 ng/ml) specifieke effect en (B) het TNF-α-neutraliserende effect van Adalimumab te analyseren.
